OUR STORY
Three generations
by the river.
Long before The Getaway ever welcomed a guest, it welcomed a family. More than thirty years ago Mary and Pas bought this house as a place to escape the everyday and gather the people they loved most.
Four children became twelve grandchildren, and Pas kept building — another bed, another place at the table — so the family would always have somewhere to make memories together.
Now we’d love you to make yours.

Please supervise children near the river and jetty at all times, with life jackets on.

A paddle, a quiet moment on the jetty, or an afternoon together on the water. There’s no need to hurry here.
